NEW ORLEANS -- Funny Cide is ready for another race, and this time the Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner will be facing familiar foes in Sunday's $500,000 New Orleans Handicap.
A field of eight was entered Friday for the 1 1/8 -mile race at the Fair Grounds, including morning-line 5-2 favorite Ten Most Wanted and Peace Rules.
Funny Cide, who defeated both colts in the Kentucky Derby, was the 4-1 third choice, with Seattle Fitz the second choice at 7-2.
